I am curious about a lot of things, but education (broadly defined), the intersection of technology & media, and history, especially the history of the region that is now known as “Africa” and the history of ideas have always been the main recurring themes. I grew up in Kampala, lived and studied in Oslo, Norway before moving to Edmonton. This website is my personal sandbox - a place to experiment and play with ideas that interest me as I continue to learn and evolve. I hope to do this through research, writing, and occasionally, photography.

The goal is to keep learning new skills that can be useful in this brave new world of life/work that is upon us.
